This sculptural work reinterprets ubiquitous frame and panel cabinet construction. A beech wood frame is skinned with a transparent spandex mesh and two portals provide access to the interior space. Although devoid of the traditional utility associated with cabinetry, the transparency and dynamic tensile forms created by this unconventional construction make for a captivating, enigmatic study of light, space, and form.
